Open Plain Clothes Handcuff Case

Main piece: six and a half to seven and a half ounces (6 1/2 -7 1/2 oz.) black full grain
hides, drum dyed, vegetable tanned leather.
• Back piece: eight to nine ounces (8 - 9 oz.) black full grain hides, drum dyed, vegetable
tanned leather with two (2) slots to accommodate the one and one-half inches (1 1/2”)
belt. All edges shall be coloured black.
• The body shall be open with a center snap that secures handcuffs in case. Pulling upward
on handcuffs shall disengage center solid brass snap with high tension socket and a black
matte, non-reflective, enamel finish or nylon cap.
• The plainclothes handcuff case shall be sized to hold a standard pair of metal handcuffs
such as Smith & Wesson, Hyatt, and Peerless brand handcuffs.
• The case shall open upward.
• The finished dimensions shall be four inches (4”) high (back plate) by three and one eighth
inches (3 1/8”) wide.
• The case shall be assembled by cementing, laminating and sewn together using nylon
thread #138 and #92.
